Our Story
Strategist, Storyteller, Teacher, Mom, & Dream Owner — That's Me!
This is Shanna!
Finding the right support you need, and trust can be scary. After years of working in corporate and field marketing, I’ve hired many freelancers, contractors, and agencies. So, I know how it feels to put your trust in someone else. Maybe you’ve been disappointed – yeah me too! I also know what it’s like to find support that’s a natural fit and feels like a breath of fresh air. They do the work and then some. They tell you hard things you need to hear but may not like, and they always have your best interest at heart. I believe every business should have this type of support and a chance to grow. That’s why I started Sprout – to help others get the marketing they need and deserve.
I help businesses develop strategies that succeed, create a brand story that attracts clients, and build a marketing plan they can execute. Whether you have a marketing department or are flying solo, we all need a little help now and then. It could be taking on a significant project or seeking advice on your plans. You’ll get confidence and peace of mind knowing your marketing works when you hire me.
The good news – you’ve got nothing to lose by scheduling a free consultation. I can’t wait to hear from you and learn how I can help.
By serving others to help their dreams grow, mine grows too.
I can’t wait to work with you.
Okay, So What's the Real Story?
I grew up in Mobile, Alabama, and earned a bachelor’s degree and master’s in marketing from the University of Alabama. Not long after college, I landed a job with the country’s largest foodservice company and headed north to call Charlotte home. I traveled to five states leading the marketing efforts for the region and helping managers grow their business. We were a big company with a small feel. I loved it! Then, one day, I met and married my soulmate, and everything changed. While my passion was with my team, my heart longed to be home. That’s when I made a move to corporate.
Now in every story, there’s a princess involved… so, here’s the princess part. I thought for a while 9 to 5 was where you had to be – until my life was blessed with the beautiful Addison Paige and things changed again. Quite naturally, as everything does, it happened by chance. An acquaintance needed help with their small business, another friend needed guidance with their business, and my church sought help. One thing led to another, and it was apparent; the call to serve others was real.
I can’t wait to work with you.
